JBake v2.2.0 Released

I'm pleased to announce that JBake v2.2.0 has been released!

The big new feature in this release is support for AsciiDoc formatted content files. Adding support was possible thanks to the excellent Asciidoctor project and their Java Integration library. If you need to create documentation of any kind I highly recommend you have a look at the AsciiDoc format, you can even use it to write books in!

There's also a couple of new command line options. One that creates a sample project structure with some templates and content files all integrated with Bootstrap to get you up and running quickly. The other runs JBake in local server mode allowing you to see what your baked site looks like before deploying or uploading it.

For full details head over and see the updated documentation.

From this release onwards the project will be adopting the Semantic Versioning specification, to help maintain an understandable backwards compatibility strategy
